Career readiness is not built in a single workshop — it is shaped through consistent learning, reflection, and real-world exposure.

Data & AI mentees
As part of Cohort 2 of the Fem in STEM Program, led by Schneider Electric in partnership with Impactiv, mentees have been strengthening their core professional and analytical capabilities through a series of structured group learning sessions designed to bridge academic knowledge with practical workplace skills.
Over the course of 6 months, mentees engaged in seven key workshops focused on personal positioning, data-informed decision-making, and communication skills. Below, we spotlight three core sessions.
Three Core Sessions for Career-Ready Skills
Personal Branding
The Personal Branding session, facilitated by Hélène Yohannes, Strategic Project Manager – Employer Branding & Talent Attraction at Schneider Electric, guided 46 mentees in defining and communicating their unique value beyond a résumé, helping them align personal and professional narratives to stand out within competitive STEM environments.
Habits Essential for Success
This was followed by Habits Essential for Success, delivered by Shrijit Nair, HR Business Partner and Mobility Specialist for the Gulf Countries at Schneider Electric, and attended by 43 mentees, where participants explored the daily behaviours and intentional routines that distinguish high-performing individuals and support sustainable growth.
Data Analysis & AI for Decision-Making
The learning journey then expanded into analytical thinking through the Data Analysis & AI for Decision-Making session, led by Simmi Dixit, MEA Services HRBP & People Analytics Director at Schneider Electric, and attended by 40 mentees. The session introduced practical frameworks for interpreting information, turning insights into decisions, and using AI prompt writing responsibly to communicate ideas with clarity and impact.
Learning Beyond Theory
Delivered in person at the Schneider Electric office, these sessions extended beyond theoretical learning by offering direct engagement with industry professionals and program facilitators, creating an environment where dialogue, mentorship, and peer exchange happened naturally.
Participants not only developed tangible skills in communication, structured thinking, and self-management, but also gained clearer professional direction and increased confidence in navigating early career pathways. Each workshop concluded with certification of attendance and open networking moments that further strengthened the growing Fem in STEM community — a network grounded in shared learning, mutual support, and industry connection.
These group learning experiences form a central pillar of the Fem in STEM program, ensuring that mentees progress with both technical awareness and the professional confidence needed to transition from university into the workplace with clarity and purpose.
